Here are a few of my favourite things.

Here are my new additions to "Tales from the nest". I hope you enjoy them.
Spring is such an amazing time of the year. Everthing is new and fresh, days are longer, warmer and brighter. People smile more and are generally more cheerful.
Robert and I have had such fun going out and about to gather these pictures and wanted to share them all with you.
I am so grateful that I have been blessed to live in such a stunning  part of the world. Glad that I am free to enjoy the many wonders of the seasons. I love spring best because it inspires in me to have  greater hope that all will be well.

I have a family here on earth.

Meet my little Willow Tree friends. Actually they are my little minature family. Well no, they are not mine. My once minature family are all big now. They are actually Beki's and Dave's children. Which makes me "Their Granny". Anyone who has grandchildren will know what I mean The little boy with the golden heart is Cambie because he really has a golden heart. The little babies at the front are Daisy and Willow, precious little twin girls. The little man behind is Ozzy, he holds hope high. the others are gifts and I love them all. Though the love I have for the real the real little people and the big ones too, is more than can ever be measured.

The hand which bears all nature up

The circle of life.

Feed my sheep.

Little lambs so fair and gentle. Another reminder that we are part of a flock and when we listen to the voice of the shepherd he will keep us safe. His sheep hear his voice.

Earth with her ten thousand flowers.

The beautiful little snowdrop, blossoms at the coldest and hardest time of the year. A reminder of the great strength it has.
Should we not be stronger than them.
Another strong reminder that no matter how hard and cruel life can be, we were all meant to survive the winters of life.

New life.

I love Springtime it is a beautiful reminder that Heavenly Father is in control and has given us wonderful reminders of that eternal fact.

Oh how lovely was the morning.

Awake and arise oh yea slumbering nations. What glorious scenes mine eyes behold.

Yesterday was Red Nose day in school (actually it was Red Nose day for the whole of Britain). In school we get to dress up for as anything we want, but must pay a pound for the privilege. All of the mony raised for this event goes to children who are underprivileged. For whatever the cause may be. The good thing about it is that every single penny goes to these children and no one gets a cut. The public are very good and everyone gets involved, so it is a fun thing to do and children benefit from it in many ways. Each year there is a theme. This year was "Make someone laugh. I came up with the bright idea of making a spectacle" of myself, but Robert thought that "Spec-tacular" was good, it did work and children and adults thought it funny too.

These most interesting sculptures were captured by Robert in an old people's home. (You would think old people knew where babies came from). Anyway it is carved from wood. Whatever you think about it I am sure you will agree that who ever the artist is certainly has a talent.
