Hey everyone, I am sending an invitation to all of you to take part in my fun Giveaway.
You must be quick though as it ends Friday 31st July.
I will tell you what it is, they are the cutest baby hats you have ever seen. They come in pink, white and lemmon, only one style for little boys at the moment. All you have to do is leave a comment on my other blog Handmade in Scotland by Helen.
Simply chose your colour and style by stating the code and colour. That's how easy it is. Your baby will look gorgeous whatever one you chose. Go on give it a try, it could be You.

They have fire in them and run on steam.

I can remember going to the Fairground when I was little and seeing traction engines like this driving generators to power the rides. They were all colourfully painted with lights all over them. It was a treat just to watch them and all the moving parts and the steam and smoke belching from them.

Arbroath extraviganza.

There is a man standing in the middle of the ball with the motorbikes, you can just see his head. He is standing there giving a running commentary.

flowers from a flower.

What a beautiful surprise. Sitting chatting with my visiting teachers yesterday morning when the "postie" chapped on the door and handed me a box. I couldn't open it quick enough. Of course I persevered and there was a box full of sunshine. thank you Emma Xx.

Life can be so sweet.

This takes me way back to my childhood, when the sweetie shop windows all looked like this. We would stand for ages trying to decide which one to buy. The sweets were much cheaperthen and they seemed to last forever, all they cost was sixpence for 4 ounces. Boy what happened to those sweeties.

poppies

what can I say..... I love poppies. When I was little I thought poppies only came in deep red. Like in Flanders Fields.

Summertime.

Sitting in the garden enjoying the warmth of the Summer sun, surrounded by pretty flowers. Making a start on a crotched baby blanket fo no-one in particular.
For the gipsy feet. Or is it just dad putting his foot in it?
Like I said, I thought poppies only came in deep red. Then I saw these pretty pikish-lilac ones which grew from a handful of pods which Robert picked up on his travels. They only last a day or two, but they are so pretty. I am just filled with awe when they blossom. How clever Heavenly Father is.
