Today I went back to work after being off for a whole week after having a really bad fall over a week ago. I had to keep my leg up for three days. Can you believe that? This is not something that I am very good at.(Sitting with my feet up doing nothing). Anyway I did knit 3 little jackets and started a forth,so it wasn,t an entirely fruitless week. But today was hard having to be up and around and being busy again.

I was reminded that I hadn't mentioned some people in my last, or was it my first entry?

I guess I just got caught up with the excitement of being a blogger hehe.

So I will mention all those special people are very precious to me. Scott was our first born son, because of an operation which I had at the age of 21 the doctor told me it could take some years before I could have any children. I wasn't married at the time and wasn't too concerned about that, when I got married at the age of 23 we thought it would be a while before we would have any children. So we were rather surprised when 9mts 3 weeks and 1 day along came Scott, who was 1 day late. Well Scott is now married to our legal eagle daughter in law Vicky.

To say we were a wee bit surprised when 13 mts later we then had our 1st daughter Wendy would be an understatement, we were not supposed to have any children for a while. (So much for doctors). (Not complaining, honestly). Next came Emma 2 & 1/2 years later. Emma has a degree in Interior & Environmental Design. She married lovely Niels and lives in Demark.

Andrew came next, he is on an apprenticeship to be a joiner, we hope he finds work when he gets through with it. Laura came next. She married Stewart who is attending BYU in Rexburg and is a very clever lad. Laura is arty like her other sisters and loves scrapbooking and photography and oh, did I mention Blogging? Our youngest daughter is Beki who likes to change the spelling of her name and totally confuse me. Beki married Dave and they have Cameron who is 5 he is a joy and was our 1st grandchild. Daisy and Willow are gorgeous little twin girls and are Cameron's little sisters they are 16 mts old and so very different. It was the greatest, most wonderful thing to be at their births and Cameron's too. How many granny's get to do that? Then there is little baby Ozzie who is five months old, I didn't get to be at his birth. Aww.

Anyway, I await any other grandchildren that come along in the future and hope I get to spend time with them whenever I can.

Are you on pain killers or anything for your leg? It sounds horrible. Did you tear the muscle or something? I hope it gets better soon. There's nothing worse than having to walk about and put pressure on an injury - ok, there are worse things but it comes close.

I hope you heal totally very quickly. Falls can really be more harmful than they look.
